UofG Print is based in the heart of the University Campus in Glasgow's West End. For the past 30 years, we have been supplying high-quality print and services to the University and its wider community.

Print Unit Supervisor

Since 2011, I have been the Print Unit Supervisor. I have used all the experience gained over 30 years to shape and deliver a print service tailored to our customers' needs. This is constantly evolving, and my goal is to deliver the very best product and service possible and to allow our customers the freedom to shape the service we offer.

Equal parts creative and engineer, I relish a good problem to solve. Be it a physical printing conundrum or a graphic design challenge, I don't think there's anything a calm and logical approach can't achieve. I strive to deliver the very best customer service I can, and that's helped hugely by having such a supportive and enthusiastic team around me.

I have worked in the print industry for more than a decade, both in the University and previously in the commercial sector; my experience has given me a passion for providing brilliant products from first contact to delivery, as well as a high standard of customer service. I am also involved with maintaining the UofG Print's web and Twitter presence, which is something I find very rewarding. Outside of work I enjoy cinema, music and spending time with my cat Seamus.

Machine Operator

I have been in print for many years and have worked in most areas of production. This has given me a valuable level of experience which I currently apply to the administration of UofG Print. I am a first contact for customers, keep the Unit stocked with materials and work with the finance-related tasks. On occasions where we are really slammed, I dust off my production hat and dive in to assist with keeping the work moving.
